Fibre content: 100% hand spun hemp Length: 50m, approximately 200g Thickness: typically varies from 3-4mm - as they are hand-spun, expect some minor variation between balls.

Super versatile and an excellent, seriously strong twine. Use for various basketry and weaving methods whether twining or coiling. Its thickness makes it suited rustic style macrame but mostly I love crocheting with it anywhere from 4 to 8 rolls will work up a good size door mat that will withstand the elements for years (I can attest to this as I made one!).
This style of hemp twine is super durable and will not rot or go mouldy easily. It is also far less prone to flaking and shedding fibres than other twines such as jute.
Also great to use on garlands, dream catchers and as a general substitute for regular twine.
This is a Fair Trade product, grown and hand spun in Bangladesh by artisans trained in the traditions of Bengali rope makers.
