Fair trade handspun linen 100g

From Nepal

This product is sold out

Each batch of the linen we receive from the cooperative is different, and we never know what we'll get - which is part of the fun! This time, the yarn is a single ply (but not extra fine) weight, with a very earthy, organic tone and plenty of fibrous specks. Ideal to use in textured weavings (not for garments), to crochet into washers etc if you're looking for a bit of a scrub effect.

About the linen:

This linen is grown, harvested and spun in Nepal by community artisans. Alongside hemp and nettle, raw linen is sold through local rural cooperatives at fair trade prices and produced using natural methods and no chemical processing.

Meterage: approx 300m per 100g
Material: 100% linen/flax
Country of origin: Nepal
