Habu N-24 raw silk wrapped paper

by Japan

This is a linen paper given additional strength by wrapping with a tiny, ultra-fine strand of silk. Don't worry - it is washable, with care!

Surprising strength, making it suitable for weaving, can be used as warp on floor looms. The knitted fabric from this linen feels a bit like cotton, but different. Knits up well when plied with yarn of other textures, such as ultrafine mohair or other fingering wool for a luxe effect.
